FEE WAIVE POLICY

Grainger takes its ethical obligations seriously and wants to ensure we are complying with our customers’ employer’s ethics policy.

During registration, customers will be able to select “Grainger can pay for my event fee and/or hotel stay” or “I/my organization must pay for my event fee and/or hotel stay”. This selection is based on whether or not the customer’s employer’s ethics policy allows.

If the customer selects “Grainger may pay for my event fee and/or hotel stay” and s/he is an employee of a government, healthcare, or education-based entity, or receive taxpayer funding that imposes other ethical or fiscal restrictions, Grainger can only cover the cost of lodging, ground transportation, meals and/or entertainment if you provide a letter from your Ethics Counsel or Ethics Office indicating that acceptance of these benefits is permitted under your employer’s ethics policies. You will need to upload this letter as part of your registration.

For convenience, we have created a compliance letter template available for download. This template can be edited as necessary to specify the fees that an organization has stated Grainger can cover.
